MEsquite Gun Show
I went to the Mesquite gun show this weekend. The Classic Gun Shows put it on, and the admission was $7.00. The parking was not too bad. I got to the show around 10:00am and the place was packed. I made my first walk-thru in about an hour. I spoke to a couple of vendors and a CHL instructor. I did notice that the prices on assault weapons had not changed at all. I was expecting them to drop a little bit, but they remained the same. Maybe they will come down in the next few months as manufacturers start making more weapons. I did speak with a vendor who told me that gun prices in the next few months might be going up. I hope not, but you never know. I also spoke with someone from Classic Colt Firearms and they specialize in Colts and I had a good talk with them about the effects of the sunset. I did see a few nice pistols and shotguns.
